Experience

You will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills such as:

  • T1 tax return filing
  • Improve your communication and customer service skills
  • Enhance your resume with volunteer experience

Training

As a CVITP volunteer, you’ll receive training, guidance, access to a dedicated help line, and free tax software.

No experience is required to be a volunteer tax preparer.
